In Our Estimation, You Should Meet Eric Backos
At Chiz Bros., we pride ourselves on versatility. In addition to being an Estimator, Eric Backos is also a CAD Designer and Project Manager. He joined us recently and has more than 20 years of experience working with refractories, CAD design programs, machine shops, and multimedia.
“I enjoy being part of the Chiz Bros. team because everyone is focused together on one thing: helping customers,” says Eric.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology/engineering from PennWest California (formerly California University of Pennsylvania) and has an associate’s degree in CADD.
Outside of work, Eric enjoys bicycling and motorcycling and plays the drums in a band named Egomyth. He also likes taking his family to amusement parks and riding “all the roller coasters we can.”
